I already had problems during initial setup. After logging into account, the account didn't show up in canary. Suddenly it worked. A few days later I tried adding a second account. Same issue!

We don't use 'æ' at all in German. IMO I would keep 'Mentions' even in german localization. Everyone will undestand.

When in the Messages pane (far right), and you try and swipe down to view more messages, a small white square will be displayed, likely a PB scrolling issue.
